Trainee presentation

This will be the intro to the video. Make sure it is "catchy" by making it as creative as possible. These first few seconds ensure that the viewer stays tuned in and wants to continue watching the video.

Some classic ideas:

• Let the trainee jump into the picture from below
• Show her/him in a special place that suits the profession

This scene should serve as a short intro. It is therefore best to keep the content brief.

Formulation example:

"Hello, I'm Tanja and I'm a 2nd year apprentice at [company name]. I'm going to show you why it's so much fun to work here and why I look forward to it every day. Let's go!"

In the second scene, we give the audience a brief insight into the apprentice's educational background and area of work.

The same applies here: short and sweet beats long (and boring)!

Formulation example:

"I applied here straight after finishing secondary school because I was really interested in electrical engineering. My current day-to-day work involves planning new electrical systems and helping with the installation. As I've always enjoyed technology, it's almost become a hobby!"

With this scene, we want to convey to viewers why it is so much fun to work here.

This works best if you demonstrate success in an actual, exciting project.

Have you recently completed a great trainee project or were you able to take on a lot of responsibility in your last customer project? Great, put it in the video!

Formulation example:

"I enjoy big projects the most: For example, we just recently completed a customer project where I was allowed to independently take care of the installation of a system at the customer's premises. The result looked great, so it felt really good to see what I had achieved in such a short time."

Here is the reason why you have applied here.

What makes our team special? What is on offer here that you won't find elsewhere? What makes our company exciting for new applicants?

Formulation example:

"I looked at lots and lots of companies when I was writing my applications for the apprenticeship. What I liked so much here is the really informal atmosphere, which I actually sensed during the interview. I get on so well with my colleagues that I actually enjoy meeting up with them after work and we've become friends. I would therefore always apply here again!"

The last scene follows!

We end the video with an appeal, because: We need new trainees in the team!

Address the audience directly.

Formulation example:

"Are you looking for an apprenticeship - or do you know someone who is currently looking for an apprenticeship? Is technology your thing? Then apply to us with just one click - I look forward to welcoming you to the team!"
